Where's the view?

Where's the view?

This past Sunday, me and two friends had a bright idea. That bright idea was to climb the tallest mountain in wales. That bright idea, however, didn't include a quick check of the day's weather before coming up with a plan and solidifying the date in the calendar.

Therefore, you guessed it! It rained the entire time and made for some pretty wet walking conditions. So wet, on my return home I had to fork out to purchase a new screen and battery for my phone due to it becoming so drenched in water, in a survival situation I could have probably got a pint or so to boil if in the need of drinking water.

Snowdon however, was magical, so beautiful and free from all the stresses that come with living in a concrete jungle. We started around 09:30am and took to the miner's trail setting off with a cup of tea and shortbread biscuit from a cafe at the base. Passing two beautiful lakes before scurrying up to the summit for a brief moment, due to the sheer drop in temperature, increased wind force and views of absolutely nothing but cloud. See you in the summer Snowdon.
